Wanderer of Vana'diel Returns: Chronicles of Zaisha

I haven't found much use for this journal, but it's here and I may as well put it to use. So we'll try something new with it. The trials and tribulations of my Mithra Red Mage, Zaisha.

I've never been a huge fan of online games. I played a mud back in college briefly, some german night something... It was an interesting experience, but not something I could do for long. Years later, I tried Phantasy Star Online. It was fun, for awhile, but the endless quest for the next level and red box just didn't too it for me long term. (Plus there were some real weirdos on there (does that include me since I played a FOnewearl?)) So I eventually cancelled. And along came FFXI. I picked it up about a month after the NA release. Much like my previous experiences, short term was fun, but difficult to maintain. But there wasn't something different about this one. I would play for weeks straight, and stop. Yet, I could not stay away. The time between playing got longer. I even deleted it once. But here I am again. The main reason I kept coming back, the friends I had made along the way, had left the game, but I keep playing, slowly making new ones. The cause of my 5 month break remains. The roadblock known as Genkai 1. Limit Break 1. "In Defiant Challenge". I mustn't give up.
